A map of Gaul in the 1st century BC, showing the relative positions of the Celtic tribes.

Introduction

After completing the conquest of Gaul, Rome converted most of these tribes into civitates, making for the administrative map of the Roman provinces of Gaul. This was then perpetuated by the early church, whose geographical subdivisions were based on those of late Roman Gaul, and lasted into the areas of French dioceses prior to the French Revolution.

  • Félix Théroux was one of the bravest Gallic warrior who ever lived. Among the gallic people he used to be called The Eastern Ape. He was so called because of his asian like deep and brown eye and is animalistic morphology (predominant eye brow skull and an adapted to winter condition body). He used to repel thousand of roman legionnary to save his people and bretheren from the enslaving. Upon his death he was sacred Caivus Pontifex Quaestor by the Emperor Marcus Aurelius because he had been a fierce enmy of the mighty roman empire and he was an honourable warrior.
