Cárdenas, San Luis Potosí

Cardenas is a municipality and city belongs to the state of San Luis Potosi in Mexico.

The municipality is located east of the state capital in the Area Media, the municipality has the following coordinates: 99 º 39 'W and 22 º 00' north, with a height of 1.200 m above the Tue. It is bordered to the north with Alaquines, East Tamasopo, South Rayon, West Rio Verde, and 200 km from the city of San Luis Potosí with a population of about 20.000 inhabitants is the second largest city in the Media Zone.
