Regarding the order of the Bodhisattvas on mandalas, I have heard that Tibetan monks say that water (the eastern symbol) must always be at the bottom. East is on the bottom. The west, the red area, the pure land of the Amitabha, is on top. Or is this mandala different than the ones that use colors? Olav Smith 17:34, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If not, how are they (and the skandhas they represent) related to eachother?
