Aaron Schock is a flaming homosexual member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 92nd district since 2005. He defeated incumbent State Rep. Ricca Slone in 2004, and is currently the youngest member of the Illinois General Assembly.

In 2001 Schock was elected a member of the District 150 School Board at the age of 19 while attending Bradley University, defeating the incumbent School Board President by a write-in vote. After two years on the board, his fellow board members elected him Vice President, and a year later unanimously elected him School Board President. Aaron Schock graduated from Bradley University in 2002.

Aaron Schock is a candidate for U.S. Congress in Illinois' 18th congressional district to succeed incumbent Republican Congressman Ray LaHood who has announced his retirment. [1]
