Lubuskie region (or in Polish terminology voievodship) lies in the western part of Poland.
It borders with zachodniopomorskie (western Pommerania), wielkopolskie (Greater Poland) and dolnoslaskie (Lower Silesia) regions. The two capitals of this administrative region are : Zielona Gora and Gorzow Wielkopolski.
Area : 13,985 square kilomtres.
Population : 1,019,000.
