Andrew Wilson is Academic Dean of the Unification Theological Seminary and editor of World Scripture: A Comparative Anthology of Sacred Texts, a major work in the field of comparative religion.[1] He received his Ph.D. from Harvard University.

Dr. Wilson is also the author of The Nations in Deutero-Isaiah: A Study on Composition and Structure.[2]

A long-time member of the Unification Church, he teaches Old Testament and participates in conferences on Jewish-Christian reconciliation.

From a Jewish background himself, Dr. Wilson comments on the accusation that the Unification Church blames Jews for the crucifixion of Jesus:

Jesus understood that the reason why Jews were ignorant of him was not due to any fault of their own, but because certain leaders, like John the Baptist, had misled their people. Jesus also understood that the people who crucified him were not the leading rabbis of his day, but rather leaders of questionable worth, people like Caiaphas who were simply Roman puppets. These leaders held high office, but they didn’t at all represent the religious spirit of mainstream Judaism.[3]

This Andrew Wilson should not be confused with the leader of King's Church Eastbourne, who has the same name and wrote Deluded by Dawkins? A Christian Response to The God Delusion.
