The school is home to students grades 9-12 and is part of the South Orangetown Central School District. The school draws students from Orangetown, NY, which is comprised of the villages and hamlets of Blauvelt, Grandview, Orangeburg, Tappan, Palisades, Piermont, Upper Grandview, and portions of South Nyack. The high school is co-located with a satellite branch of Iona College, with the college occupying a the northeast wing of the school. The school shares its name with the nearby Tappan Zee Bridge, which connects Rockland County, NY to Westchester County, NY. She is the Tappan Zee record holder in the 1,500 and 3,000 meters and the mile. Last year, Graney qualified for the state championships in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track. TZ Track Maegan Butler: Varsity Swimmer- Tappan Zee junior Maegan Butler took home her first Division II title with a score of 239.80 in her first divisional meet.
