CIA officer of Muslim Syrian-Lebanese origin who was recruited into the CIA from the FBI and convicted of improperly using FBI computers for obtaining sensitive information about both herself and her family.

She was also convicted of naturalization fraud, for paying a man to marry her so she could get U.S. citizenship, and lying about her background in applying for jobs at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Central Intelligence Agency.[1]

Prouty's family is also reported to have links to the Syrian Nazi Party. [2]
