I don't think this:

"Queensbridge is the only building complex, let alone housing project, to have a subway station named after it."

is true. The most notable counterexamples would be The World Trade Center (on the E) and 161st St/Yankees Stadium (on the B/D). Many stations also carry building names as "subtitles"; for example, "68th Street, Hunter College" (on the 6).

The statement could be qualified by changing "the only building complex," to "the only housing complex in New York City,".
