Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Hencetalk
Voice your opinion (talk page) (0/0/0); Scheduled to end 13:24, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
I have not been around for very long, however, I have been here long enough to know the rules, regulations and policies that all Wikipedia's users must follow. I feel that the number of edit counts does not judge the worthiness of an admin, I feel that if they are mature enough to have the tools, then they should be given the role.
Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: I intend to follow up on what I have been doing for most of the time here - newpage patroling, I have done this almost exclusively since joining, and I feel that having the ability to delete pages myself would be very benificial
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: As I have stated above, I have made my best contributions to newpage patroling, I feel that these are very important, because of the decision to allow anons to create pages Wikipedia needs more people who can actively deal with nonsense pages on sight, and prevent their recreation,
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: No, I have been involved in no conflicts with anyone
