John Eleuthère du Pont (born c. 1939) is a former coach and financial sponsor of American sport wrestling and an imprisoned murderer. He was one of the heirs to the E.I. du Pont fortune.

On 26 January 1996 he shot Olympic wrestler David Schultz to death at the wrestling facility on du Pont's estate, without apparent provocation and with Schultz's wife as a witness, and surrendered two days later. On February 26 of the next year he was convicted of third degree murder.
