A 1970s council estate on the western edges of Waterlooville originally built by Portsmouth City Council. The estate has been dogged by high levels of crime and anti-social behaviour over the years, commonly attributed to its semi-remote location.

The village centre was redeveloped in 2004 with new housing, and new buildings for the community centre and popular Chinese take-away.
