Strawberry milk
Strawberry milk is made either with fresh strawberries mixed with milk or with strawberry powder. It is a relatively recent development in the dairy world. It still has not gained the commonplace notoriety that chocolate milk has, but is being sold in more stores than the past.
History
In the United States, strawberry milk is made by several companies. Hershey’s chocolate made a strawberry syrup in the late 90’s, that would mix with milk much in the same way as their chocolate syrup. Thus making strawberry milk. Another company to make such a product is the Prairie Farms milk company that makes a carton of strawberry milk.
Internationally
Strawberry milk is very popular in Germany, where it is the most common alternative to chocolate milk. Companies such as Nestle sell it in many parts of the world, most notably in Asia. In the United States, Strawberry Milk is regarded as the hyphyest of all milks, and so Nesquik came up with a powder powder that has been made since the late 50's, and a syrup that began in the late 80's to exploit the 18-25 demographic.
