  • Videocon Group, through its two companies, Videocon Appliances Limited and Videocon Industries Limited listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, manufactures and markets consumer appliances, electrical and electronic products both in India and through international subsidiaries; and also has oil and gas interests.[129][130][131]
  • Vijaya Bank is a commercial banking and financial services company providing retail and merchant bank services, with 923 branches as of 2007. [132]
  • Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd is a voice, data and broadband services provider[133] listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, whose principal activities include providing national and international telephone, telex, telegraph and internet access services and transmission of signals for international television broadcasts.[134]

  • Wipro - IT company with over 75,000 employees; provides integrated business, technology and process solutions, personal computing and enterprise products, and consulting services, with sales of USD 2.38 billion and market value of more than USD 18 billion in 2006.[17][143] It is a component of the BSE Sensex index.[144]
