Erfurt Airport (IATA: ERF, ICAO: EDDE) is the international airport of Erfurt, Germany.
Ground transportation
There are six (No. 99) shuttle buses a day between the airport and the main station which take about 15 minutes each way. With the extension of tram No. 4 ("AirCombino") to the suburb of Bindersleben and a new tram station having been opened in front of the airport since June 21, 2005, you can now get to downtown via Domplatz every 20 minutes in about the same time. The distance between airport and the city centre is about 5 km (3 miles).
