Robson Ponte (born November 6 1976 in São Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian football player currently playing for Urawa Red Diamonds. Although Ponte is born in Brazil, he also holds Italian nationality. He is an all-around midfielder, and takes both penalty kicks and corners for the Reds. He also has his own tribute band and a techno tune named after him.(See external link) Robson Ponte is celebrated every year on the feast of Pontecost[citation needed]
