COFFEE SERVICES

As companies or organizations strive to create an enjoyable workplace for their employees, more and more are contracting outside companies to provide a coffee service. To keep their employee’s peppy and in good-spirits, with little effort, a coffee service is often the best option.

COFEE SERVICE OPTIONS

The term coffee service is rather open-ended. It can imply the presence of a coffee dispensing machine, or the consistent delivery of coffee beans.

Some companies, with high traffic of visitors and employees, opt to install a coffee dispensing machine as their coffee service. Typically these machines give the user the choice of various types of coffee from American drip to Espresso, decaf or regular. For a small fee the machine will dispense the user’s coffee choice into a single cup. The profits from machine coffee services are usually enjoyed by the owner of the building; however, they must contract an outside provider for the ingredients and maintenance of the machine. In order to ensure a profit, most outside contractors will only install a machine coffee service in facilities with high traffic of potential users. This coffee service is by and large the most expensive option.

Other types of coffee service generally imply the consistent delivery of coffee ingredients and equipment. Some coffee services will merely be the delivery of a few bags of ground coffee to the user’s location. Most large brand name coffee providers and coffee houses offer this type of coffee service.

Other types of coffee service imply the filling and maintenance of several brewing machines on a daily basis.

An increasingly popular coffee service is known as a frac pac. This coffee service is self-contained packet of coffee grounds, enveloped by a filter. The user only needs to place this pack into their coffee machine. No measuring or messy clean up is involved. Frac pacs are often the most convenient option for organizations that desire an economical coffee service with little work. The downside of such a service is quality of the coffee. Typically frac pacs sacrifice some quality for convenience.

The options are varied as organizations choose the right coffee service for their needs, but he results are always the same, a happy and animated staff.
