Battle Ground Academy (commonly known by the initials BGA) is a college-preparatory junior, middle, and high school in Franklin, Tennessee, USA, founded in 1889. It is so named because the school was originally located on part of the site of the Battle of Franklin in the U.S. Civil War, in southern Franklin. When the school moved to its current campus, built around the historic Glen Echo mansion, in 1996, the lower school remained at the older site. However, this too moved to the new campus as buildings became available, and the older campus is now closed.
