The Husbands are an All Girl American rock band. The line up is comprised of Sarah Reed, Sadie Shaw, and Casey ward. formed in 2000 in San Francisco, California. They have two full length records (Introducing the Sounds of and There is Nothing I'd Like More Than to See You Dead) on John Reis' label Swami Records out of San Diego. Shaw was previously the keyboard player in the punk goth band The Vanishing on GSL records. Past members include Nikki Sloat, Tina Luchesi, Donny Nuenhausen, John Dwyer, Matt Hartman and others. They have toured the U.S. the west coast 6 times and the full U.S. twice. They played with bands Dead Moon, Demolition Doll Rods, The Hot Snakes, The Coach Whips, and Holly Golightly. Reed and Shaw previously played together in The Lies on Kill Rock Stars Records. The Husbands are 50's girl group inspired and are heavily inspired by such bands as The Gories, The Headcoatees, The Pandoras and Bo Diddley.
