Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ∞Who?¿? 06:34, 22 September 2005 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Ixfd64 06:46, 22 September 2005 (UTC)
Please do not remove comments from your talk page. If you want to dispute the warnings given to you, write a comment after the warning instead of blanking your talk page. If you continue to remove comments you will be blocked for vandalism. — JIP | Talk 07:43, 27 September 2005 (UTC)
Wow, what a great welcome to Wikipedia. I've been browsing Wiki for about 30 minutes, and all of a sudden I've got a slew of warnings. I did not "vandalize" anybody's page, whatever that means. I don't appreciate the warnings, and I will be deleting them, as they don't apply to me. Why am i being accused of vandalism?
- They weren't necessarily meant for you, they have old dates, and this is a public IP address. They will be archived after a month or so. ∞Who?¿? 07:51, 27 September 2005 (UTC)

Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing anonymously. You can continue to do so. You are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and write articles, but doing so will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 69.64.213.146). There are many benefits for logging in to Wikipedia.
Please note these points:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view to edit the article; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do that.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted texts, advertisement messages, and texts that are not related to that article. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism. A user who repeatedly vandalises articles will be blocked from editing.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page – I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.

Re Vandalism
This message is addressed to one of the users who share this IP address. It this is not you, feel free to disregard it. In fact, if you would like your own talk page to correspond with other users, I would encourage you to register and log in.
Regarding your unsigned comment on my talk page [1], I have previously reverted the comments on this talk page that referenced vandalism; these were left by other users, not me. Someone who does not own this page blanked those comments. It may or may not have been you. So, it was not a warning by me, but by others; and it was not directed at anyone in particular, but all who use this IP address.
Accusing people of "vandalism" is not something to be done lightly. Read WP:Vandalism to see what it is and what it is not. Reverting comments on a shared talk page is not vandalism; in fact, it is a common practice. Let me remind you that this is not "your" talk page. You share it with others, and cannot do with it as you see fit.
Also, read Wikipedia:Why create an account? This will many of the benefits of registering and logging in:
- Reputation and privacy
- New editing options
- Many user preferences
Now, regarding the quote I placed on the Rove talk page, were you the person who made that comment in an edit summary? Also, have you had particular dealings with BigDaddy777 that would explain your comment regarding his RfC? paul klenk talk 07:50, 27 September 2005 (UTC)
Responding to your comments on my talk page
Regarding your comment [2], "I have no idea what you are talking about. Responding to these "new messages" are the only "comments" I've made."
Are you saying you never left messages at the Rove talk page? If so, how do you explain that someone never before making comments here at WP, chose to respond to a message on a talk page? It is very strange.
By the way, please sign all comments with four tildes (~).
It would be a great thing for you if you would register an identity and log in. Since you may be at a Kinko's or other shared computer, you should also log out when you leave. With a username, you can never be blamed for another's comments, and no one else can be blamed for yours. And you get one more important thing with a unique identity:
Credibility.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
