B2K

B2K was an American R&B music group, founded and managed by music producer Chris Stokes in 2001 and active until 2004.

Reality Show & Possible Reunion

There is a possible reunion in the future but no one of the b2k team has replied. A B2K Reality webisode is on Youtube that shows the 3 former bandmates Lil' Fizz, J-Boog, and Raz-B trying to make it without Omarion and TUG

Background

In 2001, B2K released their first single "Uh Huh" from their self-titled debut album. They were also in a scene in IMx's video, "Beautiful".

In 2002, they released their first LP, B2K. B2K released three singles — "Uh Huh", "Gots Ta Be", and "Why I Love You". Their second and final regular studio album, Pandemonium!, was released in December of the same year, and garnered the US #1 hit single "Bump, Bump, Bump". The group featured regularly on the covers of teen magazines such as Right On! and Word Up. They also released a Christmas album in-between their regular two albums, entitled Santa Hooked Me Up.

In 2003, they released four more singles "Girlfriend", "Bump That", "Everything" and "What A Girl Wants". In addition to that, they were featured on the soundtrack album for Barbershop. They headlined The Scream Tour',' along with Marques Houston, Jhene, Mario and Nick Cannon, who were also performing. B2K also released the single "Babadoom" (Ft. Fabolous) from their movie, You Got Served.

Appearances in film

Screen Gems's You Got Served, a film which starred the members of the group and members of the group of IMx as breakdancers, went into general release on January 30, 2004 and hit number one at the box office, earning more money than any other film that opened during a Super Bowl weekend. Several songs by the group were featured on the film's soundtrack album.

Breaking up

In January 2004, Chris Stokes announced that the group had broken up. Three of the members claimed financial mishandling by Stokes' management company, T.U.G. (The Ultimate Group). Omarion and Chris Stokes claimed the allegations were untrue. Even though they are no longer a group, the members have reconciled. Lil Fizz was featured in Omarion's "Entourage" video and Omarion, J-Boog, and Raz-B are in Lil Fizz's latest video. An in-depth interview was given by the group (Raz-B, J. Boog Lil Fizz), chronicling the beginning and break-up of B2K. The interview has now surfaced on YouTube.

Reality Show & Possible Reunion

On November 9, 2007 a new reality show featuring most of the group surfaced on YouTube. It shows the band thinking about and possibly trying to get back together, although Raz-B has stated that he does not want to work with Omarion.

Allegations of Sexual Abuse

Two videos surfaced on YouTube.com of Raz-B and Ricky Romance claiming that Marques Houston and Chris Stokes allegedly sexually abused the band members and forced them to do homosexual favors. Both Raz-B and Ricky (his brother) appear in the videos along with the voice of Chris Stokes and the voice of Marques Houston's sister. The videos have appeared throughout the internet on various entertainment news sites.

The allegations were especially significant because they seemed to validate pre-existing speculations of sexual abuse by Stokes. This included but was not limited to, photos of both Immature and B2K posing in their underwear which was considered by some to be mildly erotic in nature.[1][2] However, soon after the release of the videos Chris Stokes released a statement saying that all of the allegations made, were false. On December 26, according to a press release sent via PRNnewswire, Omarion officially said the comments made by Ricky Romance and Raz-B weren't true.

According to Bossip.com, there are rumors that the LAPD are looking into the allegations. However at this time LAPD has made no official statements. Raz-B was said to be 11 years of age at the time.

On December 26, 2007 a video surfaced on MTV with Raz-B publicly saying the tapes were not true. He also personally took responsibility for any financial and public harm it may have caused.
