Australian domestic petroleum retailer, established by HC Sleigh in 1913.

For most of the 20th Century Golden Fleece was one of the largest and most prominent oil companies operating in Australia, its distinctive mascot (a yellow merino ram) staring down from elevated signage across the country.

The company was acquired by US oil giant Caltex in 1981.
