Nordvargr is the most commonly used nom de plume for Swedish musician Henrik Björkk. Björkk started his career in 1989, as part of electronic act Pouppée Fabrikk and death industrial combo Maschinenzimmer 412 (later Mz.412). In parallel to his band activities, he has pursued a solo career with a vast amount of record releases.

Nordvargr has collaborated with several other prolific artists from the noise, industrial and extreme metal scenes, including Merzbow (on Partikel and Partikel II), Lasse Marhaug in the Marvargr project and Goat.
