Port FM
Port FM is a network of radio stations based in Timaru, New Zealand.
The network is one of the few independent networks not controlled by The Radio Network or RadioWorks. It does however have close ties with RadioWorks part of the MediaWorks NZ group, from which it sources its news bulletins (from Radio Live) and also provides advertising sales and services to other RadioWorks stations in the region.

About Port FM
Port FM Music
The music genres it plays is contemporary rock and pop, normally from the 1990's onwards, however with some 1970s and 1980s music thrown into the mix. The main (Timaru based) station is used as a network feed for Port FM-Local in Ashburton and Oamaru during nights and times during the weekend.
Port Fm-Local
Port FM local is the name given to stations of the Port FM Music network which broadcast from outside of Timaru during the morning and workday
Legacy Names
Fox FM (Ashburton)
Mid 2006, the station was transformed into 'Mid Canterbury's Port FM-Local' retaining the main 94.9FM frequency . It is still essentially the same radio station with local broadcasts from Ashburton remaining but with a greater percentage of broadcast from Timaru. Fox Fm belonged to the Port FM network many years before the name was officially changed.
Whitestone FM (Oamaru)
This station became 'Waitaki's Port FM-Local' retaining the 100FM Frequency
