Joe Tiller
Joseph Tiller (b. December 7, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio) has been the head football coach at Purdue University since 1997. Before coming to Purdue, Tiller was the head coach for the University of Wyoming football program.
A Montana State University graduate, where he was a member of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity. Tiller is known mostly for being one of the innovators of the spread offense.
Since taking over the Purdue football program, Tiller has led the Boilermakers to ten bowl game berths in eleven years. Prior to Tiller's arrival in 1997, Purdue had played in only five bowl games, most recently the 1984 Peach Bowl. Tiller is currently second on Purdue's all-time wins list, behind only Jack Mollenkopf.
Rumors around Tiller's future at Purdue and Purdue Athletic Director's apparent conversations with Wisconsin offensive coordinator Paul Chryst have lead to speculation that Tiller is considering retiring from the program.[1][2][3]
