Altaria (Pokémon)

Altaria (Chirutarisu) is a Dragon/Flying type Pokémon, available in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. It vaguely resembles an aquatic waterfowl of some sort, most likely a goose. It can be evolved from Swablu (Chirutto) or caught in the lower levels of Sky Pillar.

Winona, the leader of Fortree Gym, uses a Level 32 female Altaria that knows the moves Aerial Ace, Dragonbreath, Dragon Dance, and Earthquake. Altaria is also trained by Bird Keepers and Dragon Trainers, as well as the Elite Four challenger Drake. It can learn any move that Swablu can, as well as Dragonbreath and Dragon Dance.

Altaria has not yet appeared on the Pokémon television series.
