Sorcery
California Sorcery is a collection of fiction from "The Group" (California writers including Ray Bradbury, Harlan Ellison, and Robert Bloch who were responsible for the bulk of the Twilight Zone scripts). The book has an overview of the development of the group, with biographical details on each member provided there and, in brief, before that member's story.
Wasn't "Duel" a TV movie? --squadfifteen, 18/10/05
Time article made a mistake
Richard Corliss of Time Magazine wrote the movie review of I am Legend, called Will Smith Gets Lost in His Legend. In this article Corliss writes:
- Some of Matheson's TV fables — the Twilight Zone story about the gremlin on the airplane wing, the Tales of Terror jape about a Zuni fetish doll chasing Karen Black around her apartment — linger at the base of many a viewer's spine, three or four decades after they were first aired.
I emailed Corliss and said:

...copy-editor missed this one. I was adding the information to wikipedia and noticed this. I guess wikipedia isn't the only organization which has mistakes. (See the Encyclopedia Dramatic vs. Wikipedia study, which showed Wikipedia was more accurate) But unlike wikipedia, I am unable to correct this glaring mistake. |

My mother helped him write I Am Legend.
My mother, Ruth Smith dated him in the military. He was the son of a senator and he wrestled in the army also. He was writing the book, I Am Legend at the time, and my mother helped him out. For instance; he needed a pet in the book, my mother sugested the dog everyone adoped that ran around on base. He also needed something to repell the bad guys, and my mother suggested garlic; because she hated garlic. She told me many facts about him when I was a child, and later about the other movies that came after. These facts have checked out. He used to call my mother "Big Mike," because she was 5"11. Mom is from arkansas. Her full name is Ruth Frank Smith, and she would like to talk to him again. To see how he is doing. She has no clue is to his career, and I myself am also saprised she knew him. If anyone knows how I could reach him, please let me know. Flytrulove@yahoo.com. My name is Robert Rune Trulove. Please give me a call: it would be a nice supprise for mom. 479-244-6765. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.170.41.5 (talk) 07:24, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
