"Rapture"
Song

"Rapture" is the first single released from iiO's debut album, Poetica, which launched the duo into fame.

Musical Structure & Lyrics

It starts with a synth making some efects until the beat starts, and the song unfolds, it has a catchy chorus.

The song talks about a woman who met a man in a club, and how she is deeply passionated about him, it mixes terms of the divine with her feelings for him, indicating that her love is so passionate, that its almost divine to her.

Music Video

It features the duo, one of the few electronica videos that does so, since usually Models are hired to appear in the video, and the artists do a cameo. The video develops in a tecnological city, Nadia Ali is seen in a room full of machines that scan her, and eventually digitalize her, and projects her hologram high above the city, while Markus Moser is seen in a car riding through the city.
