User talk:Rjstott
Hello there, welcome to the 'pedia! Shame on us for not welcoming you earlier (actually you created your user page only a few weeks after I created my account here). BTW, thanks for making those redirects. Cheers! --maveric149

Re: People's Park, if there are examples in other places this is not a candidate for speedy deletion. Add the others. -- Graham :) | Talk 11:21, 17 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- Just for clarity, I haven't chosen anything to stay in existence, I'm just one of the people that deletes these pages and I'm not satisfied that the reason you gave was enough. I believe if it is a common place name then there should be an article on it. It doesn't have to link anywhere (as a disambig article would). The same goes for London Road and High Street: we don't need individual articles on each one that exists, but they are very common. -- Graham :) | Talk 11:33, 17 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- Actually High Street already has its own article. Graham :) | Talk 14:09, 17 Mar 2004 (UTC)
I have unprotected Denial of service. The reason for protection was that it was being targeted by vandals. (The sysop who protected it did give an explanation on Wikipedia:Protected page...) -- Cyan 04:43, 21 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Apologies for the edit conflicts on Car classification! Please feel free to re-edit/revert where you see fit - I'll leave the page alone for now so you can edit in peace. Cheers - akaDruid 10:59, 22 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Back over to you :) You may want to explain a little what each financial measure is used for &/c. Thanks Dysprosia 07:31, 29 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Article Licensing
Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 2000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:
- Multi-Licensing FAQ - Lots of questions answered
- Multi-Licensing Guide
- Free the Rambot Articles Project
To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:
- Option 1
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
OR
- Option 2
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)
Main namespace cleanup
In an effort to clean up the main namespace, I've moved your old userpage to User:Rjstott/old, as there's some edit history you might want to keep. Otherwise just delete it. --fvw* 12:12, 2004 Dec 31 (UTC)
minor edits...
just a friendly reminder, when adding births and deaths to day articles, please don't mark them as minor edits. and please write what you've done in your edit summary. happy editing! :) Kingturtle 08:11, 4 May 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for coming behind me and cleanup my errors. Will you follow me around to every page I do? Do like the table of exporters and importers? WikiDon
HELP!
I have an anonymous contributor (IP's: 70.19.21.89, 70.18.205.35, 70.19.78.34) that keeps adding information about just one company, Cheniere Energy. I don't think that this is fair. Please look at the history and read what I put on the talk page: Talk:Liquefied natural gas and let me know if I am being unfair or not. WikiDon 00:39, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I feel that this guy knows he is wrong and is just playing with me, he is hacking me off. WikiDon
- He is really pissing me off! I am getting emotional. Would you check my latest respone and see if am fair? WikiDon 21:35, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)

New page: Sakhalin-II
I just put up a new article ealier this morning. Could you, would you, give it the twice over? WikiDon
- Thanks for checking it out. I did notice you added more information. I didn't know how detailed to get, I figured that the die-hards would follow the links to satisfy their appetite. I wanted to get the bigger brush stokes down pat. About LNG, I was in the middle of working on it, but you just made it go faster, I wasn't complaining, I really would love someone to be there checking my work. I tend to get in a hurry sometimes and let some things get past. Since you work for Shell maybe you can get the main IT guy to let us use some photos? It might enhance the article? Thanks again. WikiDon
- Thanks for also looking @ Sakhalin-I. I must have had a brain fart on the vertical/horizontal, must have done that late (slaps forehead) when I was tired, and then it stayed for almost a year. Thanks again! WikiDon
