Catholicism task list:

Here are some tasks awaiting attention:

Moved from Diocese of Madison, Wisconsin to Roman Catholic Diocese of Madison in Wisconsin for (1) uniformity with other Roman Catholic diocesan articles on Wikipedia and (2) clarity based on Wikipedia namespace standards for articles and possible articles with similar names. --Gerald Farinas 05:53, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Diocese of Madison-changes

I made 2 changes in the article:1.-The Diocese of Madison was not officially erected until January 9,1946.Bishop McGavick of the La Crosse Diocese did received a private telegram from the papal nuncio(actually the apostolic delegate at the time)informing the Bishop of the impeding change in late December of 1945.2.-At the same time the La Crosse Diocese got Portage County(Stevens Point) from the Diocese of Green Bay.This does get a little confusing.RFD 19:23, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
