Else Ury' (* November 1, 1877 in Berlin; † January 13, 1943 in the concentration camp Auschwitz) was a German writer and children's book author. Her best-known figure is the blonde doctor's daughter Annemarie Braun, whose full life is told in the ten volumes of the series Nesthäkchen. It was very successfull, being adapted into a 1983 German TV miniseries. In addition, she wrote a number of other books and stories, which are primarily directed at girls and young women.

During Nazi Germany Ury was considered Jewish under the regime of the Nazis deprived, deported and killed in Auschwitz.
