Valkyrie Class Attack Ship

This request for creation has been reviewed. The reviewer comments appear below the article text.
The Valkyrie Attack Ship is the starship used by players in Activisions Space first person shooter Star Trek: Invasion, released August 23rd of 2000. Flying as Ensign Ryan Cooper of the fictional elite Starfleet group "Red Squad", the player flies the ship through 30 missions in both single and two player mode.
Developed by "Warthog" The team based the Type I fighter on a streamlined version of the Federation mission scoutship seen in Star trek: Insurrection. Called the "Talon Class" in Star Trek Fiction, the scout ship itself was approximately 24m long, had a crew of 1 to 4, and was an intermediate step between shuttlecraft and the larger Danube runabouts. Similar to the runabouts, it was sometimes armed with 4 type 5 phaser banks, and 3 micro- photon torpedo launchers. It was capable of independant scientific operations, with both impulse and warp drive.
In an early scene in Star Trek: Insurrection, Data engaged in a "dogfight" in a Talon Class with Picards Shuttlecraft. The registry number was NCC-75227. Although following normal numbering conventions, some have suggested the number was the craft that carried the scoutship to the Ba'ku planet.
Five versions of the Federation Attack Ship exist, each available in various stages of the game.
Three versions are "trainer" craft, available only the two player missions. All versions have similar weapons, but different characteristics.
Orca: Although visually similar to the baseline Talon scoutship, game data suggest the Orca is lightly shielded, agile, with moderate speed and good hull strength.
Gryphon: A weak hull with very strong shields and increased speed and agility, Designers looked to the saber class for inspiration.
Scarab: intentionally resembling the USS Defiant, it boasts improved shields and the strongest hull, at the cost of speed and agility.
Three versions of Valkyrie are available for missions.
Mark I: the first version, visually similar to the Talon scoutship, is armed with twin pulse firing Type 10 phaser cannons firing from port and starboard, a single continuous firing Type 9 phaser and a compression phaser from the nose of the craft. Ten Photon torpedoes, ten Quantum Torpedoes and ten photon mines round out the player's offensive power. At various stages of the game, the weapons can be augmented by advanced technology or power ups.
Mark II: Called the "Valor", the player gains this fighter after several missions result in capturing more power ful weapons. Visually, the Orca cockpit is attached to twin warp nacelles projecting forward. Pulse Phasers, made famous in Trek canon by the USS Defiant, as well as more powerful torpedoes are added to replace earlier weaponry such as Photonic missles, disruptors, and improved mines.
Mark III: In the final stages of the game, the player flies a highly advanced fighter with technology derived from the antagonists, the Kam Jatae. The sleek ship has a rounded cockpit with two thin nacelles arcing around the lower half of the vessel. The weapons include Triliithium warheads (a fictional high explosive in Trek Canon) and improved Disruptors (weapons usually not used by the Federation)
All three versions have three directed energy weapons, and three types of explosive munitions, plus a tractor/repulsor beam.
Although capable of warp travel, it is only used in bursts during gameplay, similar to "afterburners" in real life fightercraft. It is perhaps this reason the Player and 25 other Atack ships of the fictional "Red Squad: are carried into the theatre by the USS Typhon, a four nacelled mobile fortress/carrier armed with turret mounted Type 10 pulse phasers and Quantum Torpedoes. In several missions the player mans one of the turrets. Since the turret has a 360 degree view of space dorsal to the Typhon, one can assume at least one turret is on the ventral side.

Introduced in The early 1990's Peanut Butter M&M's have been been the unsung hero's of the M&M family. It contains its original chocolate coating with, unlike the Peanut M&M's, have a creamy, delicious peanut butter center. Oddly enough peanut butter M&M's contain 10 less calories than its ,"father" the Peanut M&M. For more nutritional facts and serving sizes please visit the M&M's official website.
Sadly, peanut butter M&Ms do not appear to be notable enough for their own article. They could perhaps be mentioned in the existing m&ms article. The only source provided in from the manufacturer, which suggests their low notability. Maybe you'd find reading WP:Notability helpful. In addition, describing them as "the unsung hero's of the M&M family" and saying "please visit the M&M's official website" is not a very encyclopedic style. You might find it helpful to read a few featured articles to get an idea of the sort of writing to aim for :) Skittle (talk) 03:59, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Skeletonbreath is a Brooklyn, New York based Instrumental Rock trio. They play dark, technical, melodic music that has been self-described as "Transylvanian Surf Rock" and "Halloween party music." They are: Andrew Platt on electric bass, Bob Pycior on electric violin, and Tris Palazzolo on drums. Their debut album, "Louise" was independently released in 2005 and has been described by TheHVScene.com as "A perfect CD." [1] They were recently featured in Progression Magazine [2] after having opened at the two-day long Progday festival. They have also received attention in the Orlando City Beat, and are featured on the DIY website Ruberecords.org.[3]
Despite having acquired much notoriety within the New York music scene, Skeletonbreath has retained a strong DIY ethic, playing in basements and living rooms as readily as festivals, having actually refused offers from restrictive touring agencies.
History
Andrew Platt, Crockett Doob and Bob Pycior grew up together in upstate New York, and played together in a number of short-lived groups throughout middle school and high school. In summer of 2002, the three, home from college, formed Skeletonbreath and shortly after began touring the northeast. Bob Pycior played in Kiss Kiss before quitting in 2005 in favor of Skeletonbreath, causing what appears to have become a lasting rivalry between the two groups. In 2007, Doob left the band to pursue other creative interests, including assisting in the production of a film and writing a novel, to be replaced by Tris Palazzolo after a series of auditions for the role. Material for another album is ready for studio work pending completion of the band's current east coast tour.

John Mangos is a popular television newsman, who has been a familiar face on Australian television screens for almost thirty years.
He is currently a senior anchorman with SKY NEWS AUSTRALIA, a post he’s held since the 24-hour news channel was launched in 1996.
He is also a weekly regular on Australia’s leading breakfast program, the Seven Network's Sunrise. And he’s a regular afternoon host on top rating Sydney talkback radio station 2UE.
A widely respected newscaster, John spent 14 years with National Nine News where he worked in the Federal Parliamentary press gallery and as the NSW state political correspondent before he became the network’s United States correspondent based in Los Angeles.
John returned from the United States at the request of the "King of Australian television", Graham Kennedy, to co-host the top rating nightly Coast to Coast news program.
John went on to make documentaries for the Nine Network as well as hosting the Our World series on Sunday nights.
At that time he was a guest host of Nine's Today show and the Midday show.
He then moved to Network Ten to present the Eyewitness news, but a year later was lured back to his old stomping ground at Nine for the irresistible chance to be an international roving reporter for the Midday show.
John's long and distinguished career was rewarded when the Seven Network offered him his own chat show, "At Home with John Mangos", which aired nationally for two years.
This wasn't enough for John who is known in television circles for his boundless energy and enthusiasm. John became a breakfast announcer on Sydney radio station 2KY, launched the new cable station, Greek Australian Television on OptusVision, and hosted a twice-weekly current affairs program, Straight Talk.
John lives in Sydney and runs his own media consultancy, Megisti Media, which was romantically named after the Greek island of his family's origin, Kastellorizo.
He is in demand as an after dinner speaker, Master of Ceremonies, seminar mediator and media trainer.
John relishes new challenges and frequently donates his time to charity fundraisers. He is a past Patron of the Make a Wish Foundation, a former steering committee member of Jeans for Genes and a current board member of Ocean Watch and the Sydney Olympic Football Club. John is also the Patron of the Trish Cairns Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation at St Vincent’s Hospital.
John is an official ambassador for the Sydney Swans Football Club and has an active interest in the club.
In his spare time, John loves to cook and has been teaching cooking classes at the Sydney Seafood School at the Sydney Fish Market for the past thirteen years.

Lady Emily Cowper
Emily cowper(1787-1869) was one of the patronesses of the famous social club of the regency period , the Almack's.
PERSONAL LIFE:
Lady Cowper was the daughter of the 1st Lord Melbourne and married, as the Hon. Emily Mary Lamb, the 5th Earl of Cowper on the 21st of July, 1805. The Earl died in 1837 and two years afterwards, Lady Sarah married the 3rd Lord Palmerston. She was to have one brother who would be Prime Minister, with her second husband being another. The couple lived at No. 94 Piccadilly in Cambridge House, once home to the Duke of Cambridge. It was said that many of the ephemeral quarrels at Almack's were smoothed over by her ready wit and tact. Lady Palmerston fully enjoyed her husband's confidence, in both private and political affairs, and she is credited with much of his success. Prince Puckler Muskau wrote of her, "We rode over to pay a visit to Lady Cowper. The park and house of Panshanger are well worth seeing, especially the picture gallery, which contains two of Raphael's early Madonna's. Lady Cowper received us in her boudoir, which led immediately into a beautiful garden, on the other side of which are green-houses, and a dairy in the form of a temple."
SOCIAL LIFE :
During the Regency years, she was one of the patronesses of Almack's Assembly Rooms and, according to Captain Gronow, the most popular of them. It should be noted that Lady Cowper and most of the other patronesses at that time were young women in their 20s and not the older dowagers some readers assume them to be. They wielded enormous social influence.

1298 Dial-A-Ambulance
“Ambulance Access for All (AAA) Foundation” was set up by a group of young professionals with a high degree of social and public commitment with the primary objective of rolling out an Advanced / Basic Life Support Ambulance Service in Mumbai that is accessible to anyone, anytime and anywhere at affordable prices through the easy to remember four digit telephone number 1298. The ambulance service was established to SAVE HUMAN LIVES which may otherwise have been lost for want of timely medical attention during the GOLDEN HOUR. The project was set up in association (through a formal agreement) with LONDON AMBULANCE SERVICE, a British Government Agency and the world's best ambulance service, which has provided assistance on processes, systems, protocols, training and project implementation to the AAA foundation.
The service has been operating 10 Advanced Life Support Ambulances for the last 36 months in Mumbai, serving 40-50 patients a day. All telecom operators in Mumbai have already activated the telephone number 1298. This number instantly connects callers to the control room which is live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week i.e. 24x7x365. On receiving a call, the control room immediately locates the area to be reached by using GPS (Global Positioning System) and dispatches the nearest free ambulance using a Real Time Tracking System to reach the patient / victim in the minimum possible time.
The service is a fee-based service that charges according to the capability of the patient /accident victim to pay. At present, the charges are levied on a differential basis depending on the destination hospital requested by the patient / accident victim / family. More than 80% of the calls attended from / to government hospitals to date have been done free of charge.
The service was very active in disaster management activities during the unfortunate 7/11 bomb blasts in Mumbai. The ambulances were the first to reach two of the incident scenes and they transferred a number of injured people to hospitals. The ambulance service was also active in providing medical relief to Mumbai citizens following the July ‘05 floods, distributing medicines worth over Rs. 40.00 Lacs to over 32,000 families in association with Tata Power. Ambulances were also sent on standby to Navapur during the Bird Flu breakout in early 2006. In addition, the ambulance service has successfully conducted many awareness programs in life support, first aid and emergency medical services.
AAA foundation was recently awarded the Godfrey Phillips Bravery Gold Award – 2007 for Social Act of Courage and the Times Foundation Recognition Award for life saving service in Mumbai.
