Knesebeck is a lively village in Gifhorn (district) (Lower-Saxony). It is domicile to important industries in the region and offers at the same time good opportunities to recreate and socialize. Traffic and Infrastructure

Knesebeck is well-connected to the Deutsche Bahn railway network. Access to German high-speed railway network is provided via Wolfsburg, Braunschweig and Uelzen. There is easy access to the airports in Hannover, Frankfurt and Berlin via the Wolfsburg high-speed connections. Volkswagen provides regular business flights from the Braunschweig/Wolfsburg airport. Cheap carriers operate at the Hamburg/Lübeck airport.

Tourism

There are good opportunities in Knesebeck to for hiking, jogging, hunting and horse-riding. Sport facilities are provided by the #Associations. There is a public outdoor pool and beach, a swimming-pool and sauna.

Attractions in the region are the Lüneburger Heide, the Phaeno and Autostadt in Wolfsburg, the historic old towns of Celle and Lüneburg as well as the Museumsdorf Hösseringen.
