POV-fork?

Correct me if I am wrong, but this is just a copy and paste of a chunk from Occupation of Poland (1939–1945), thus a POV fork of an existing article ander a move POVed name. Or is there anything else here? --Irpen 01:02, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to familiarize yourself with basics of article writing by reading WP:SUMMARY. The info in the occupation article needs to be shortened, and this article expanded.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 01:08, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Note that you answer a narrow question with WP:THIS or WP:THAT. I repeat the question to make it easier. Is this article just a copy and paste of a chunk from Occupation of Poland (1939–1945)? --Irpen 01:11, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I would really suggest you try to write some articles, this would help you to gain perspective and understanding on how they are created. I linked the relevant policy and how to above, excuse me but I don't have time to discuss basics of editing further.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 01:37, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps we could allow editors some time to move and adjust content and summarize the original in the parent before we go around pouncing and nominating stuff for deletion? This sort of chewing up of editors' time to respond to yet another thing somewhere instead of working on content doesn't contribute to WP. Just a thought. —PētersV (talk) 14:14, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
