Boothapandi is a panchayat town in Kanyakumari district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.
The town spans an area of around five sq km. The places situated in the vicinity of the town include Azhakiyapadiapuram to the northwest, Santhimangalam to the southwest, and Thalakudi to the southeast and Aralvaimozhi to the east.
Boothpandi is a green and fertile area and commands a picturesque view of the Western Ghats.
P Jeevanandam, a noted socialist and a close comrade of the famous Tamil social reformer Periyar E. V. Ramasamy was born in this small town.

Boothapandi has an average literacy rate of 82%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 84% and female literacy of 79%. 9% of the population is under 6 years of age.
