Below is a list of US Presidents, listed by estimated IQ. The Lovenstein Institute (Scranton, Pennsylvania) released a paper on July 9, 2001 estimating the [[IQ]s of the 12 presidents who have served over the past 50 years. The reported figures are claimed to be acurate to within 5 points.

Non-partisan researchers evaluated the twelve presidents by studying examples of their unassisted written work, depth of sentence structure and voice stress confidence analysis.
