WUMS (92.1 FM, "Rebel Radio") is a student-run formatted college radio station in University, Mississippi. WUMS is owned and licensed by the Student Media Center of the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). WUMS serves University/Oxford, Mississippi and the surrounding area in Lafayette County with an ERP of 3,000 watts. Rebel Radio is one of the few commercially-licensed collge radio stations in the country. Rebel Radio is run by DJs of various majors. Rebel Radio is part of the student-run Student Media Center at Ole Miss.
Programming
WUMS programming consists of top 40 music and multiple genres of Rock music.
Staff
As of February 2008, Will East is station manager as well as music and program director, Jason Caviness is news director, Ben Garrett is the sports director, and Paul Scott is the production and promotions manager.
