Matt Frey is a musician from Huntington Beach, CA. He was born in Anaheim, CA. He is currently is the touring keyboardist for 30 Seconds to Mars. He was a member in the short-lived LA quintet, Polus. He is also keyboardist/co-songwriter for Parade of Lights. He has performed with 30 Seconds to Mars in various European cities.

Matt Frey was a member of Polus. Polus was comprised of Matt Frey(keyboards, guitar), Ryan Daly(vocals, guitar), Randy Shulte(bass guitar, backing vocals), and Anthony Improgo(drums, backing vocals). Anthony Improgo now plays drums in Metro Station. Polus disbanded in March of 2007. Ryan Daly has since became a touring member of Hellogoodbye in the fall of 2007. Ryan Daly and Matt Frey have collaborated multiple times over the last five years and are now writing/recording under the name Parade of Lights. In between their touring schedule the two plan to complete a debut E.P. this spring with the help of Randy Schulte(ex-polus bassist).
