Ghetty Prime/Geidi Prime

I just added a reference that explains the name of the sector Ghetty Prime, which comes from the Frank Herbert book Dune, but I also think that whole section could use some better writting. 83.61.58.93 13:20, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DVD release

I removed this: "As of 2004, only the two movies of the fourth season have been released on DVD in North America." I know it's wrong because my roommate has the third season on DVD, we live in America, and he got it before 2004. I would replace the line with something more accurate, but I don't know the current state of ReBoot on DVD. - Lifefeed 04:04, Nov 24, 2004 (UTC)

Only the movies are in print. The rest of the show is very hard to find. Seasons 1 and 2 are caught up in legal problems. They were going to release the third season in the spring of 2005, but abandoned that plan a few weeks before they were due. -Arctic.gnome 05:59, 17 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I remember seeing the third season on DVD at the local Comic Book Shoppe(And Futureshop, actually) a few years ago. Actually, might have been four or five, now that I think about it. Four episodes per disc, as the season was split into four smaller story arcs, each with its own intro. A search on Amazon comes up with all four DVD's, labeled "Vol 1", "Vol 2: The Net", "Vol 3: The Web", and "Vol 4: The Battle Comes Home", available used, so they obviously did exist at one point. --24.42.245.92 04:48, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The DVD's and VHS movies are still available in new and used form at Amazon Books. (http://www.amazon.com)
Search on the keyword "Reboot" in the DVD and VHS sections of the site.
They can be purchased over the Internet and shipped anywhere that Amazon supports shipping to.

Minor aggravation...

I updated the DVD information with what I know of the current state of things. I also updated the AndrAIa entry. For some reason Wikipedia lost my session and the changes were logged as being from my IP instead of my ID.

POV

"ReBoot is considered by many as one of the greatest computer animated cartoons ever." I remember it fondly, but this sounds weasely - who says it? Wikipedia:Avoid_weasel_terms. Number 0 14:57, 11 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Oh I fixed it I fixed it! As you can see if you look, Cartoon Network ran a poll, so I just used that to state the same point. Unfortunately I can't actually prove the source, because the poll ended a few years ago and is no longer anywhere to be found on Cartoon Network's site. Robbing Peter to pay Paul... Adam Marx Squared 22:22, 12 Feb 2005 (UTC)

The thing I wonder is how important is the Cartoon Network poll I would just take that whole part out if it was up to me, the poll only seems to justify that as if to shout "This is the best show of all time and that is a fact" I would highly highly recomend taking it out. Deathawk 03:05, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Again, this is a fairly outlandish comment. Additionally, this is definitely a non-scientific poll, so I am adding that information.Bwabes

ReBoot was a very popular TV show during its run. In a non-scientific poll by Cartoon Network that asked, "What is your favorite Toonami show of all time?" ReBoot garnered 49% of votes.
This is how it looks in the article as it is right now. Now, I'm a huge fan of this show personally, but I think to even claim that this show was ever truly "popular" is biased at best. It never even ran on a network past its first year on ABC, and I'd easily wager it didn't even reach the popularity of Beast Wars. The long stretches between seasons, the fact that the 2nd season was syndicated here in the US, etc, didn't help. The CN poll use as proof is ridiculous - not to mention, if it were as popular as that poll indicated, ReBoot would've have been shunted off the schedule as much as it was in those days. At best, this could be considered a show with a large cult following (if that). --SevereTireDamage 23:12, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mouse's origins

A recent edit - which I'll Wikify when I'm not being lazy by 69.158.76.153 states that Mouse is believed to have been a Game Sprite. Now that's the first I've heard of it. Can somebody tell me about this? Adam Marx Squared 03:24, 27 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I never heard of it, and considering that it is speculation maybe you'd just as well remove it. — Flag of Scarborough, ON, Canada  UTSRelativity (Talk 02:06, 28 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Mouse's format is Hacker, not Game Sprite (Source: Daemon Rising). The rumor probably originates from I believe 3.02 where Mouse has to reconfigure both her and AndrAIa's icons so they can reboot - AndrAIa needing the reconfiguration since she was a game sprite and she would leave with the game. However, the other thing it does (which AndrAIa mentions briefly) is give them reboot ability - which is what Mouse probably needed it for. Regardless, in the episode AndrAIa where AndrAIa is first introduced, Bob mentions that AIs are new types of Game Sprites - and he knew (perhaps dated) Mouse back when he was at the academy. Forgottenlord 21:34, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
As for the icon thing, AndrAIa's icon needed to be modified as it was only in Game Sprite Mode. Mouse probably needed to reformat her icon because being a hacker she probably has done a lot of things to it. 66.177.3.102 04:54, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fourth season movies

Can somebody add on information about these movies I keep hearing about...? I've only heard rumours about them, and I can't seem to get any concrete information.

Can somebody whos in the know don the deerstalker and get to the bottom of this?

What? I for one don't understand the question. What about them, exactly, needs to be cleared up?

The movies are the fourth season. That season is either two movies, or those movies divided into 8 episodes. It's been aired both ways. SpaceCaptain 03:51, 17 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I've seen the fourth season both ways. When I include references for my edits I use the 8-part numbering and titling system. MikeVx 02:40, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bob's Name

I would ask that people stop inputing their speculative origins for Bob's name. The creators of the show have said on numerous ocasions that the name Bob has no computer term origin and that they simply liked the name Bob. I suggest that untill you can provide a link to an article with solid proof concerning the origins of Bob's name there will be no origin included in this article. TimeCruiserMike 20:46, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think it is likely that Bob is simply used as a humorous counterpoint to all of the other names that fit, e.g. Phong, Dot, Matrix, and... Bob.

Mouse / Hero Protagonist

Anyone else think that mouse could possibly be a reference to the main character of Snow Crash?

Counsidering the source of just about every other name and term in the series, while it might be a side reference, but the primary reference is undoubtedly the clicker. Forgottenlord 21:36, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Copland

I changed "Copeland" to "Copland". If the name is based on that of the operating system, there shouldn't be an 'e'.

The name is pronounced Copeland. To spell it differently would imply it should be said differently. Perhaps the reference was meant to be subtle. -Permanently Confused — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.97.108.34 (talkcontribs)

Enzo's Bio Dispute

TimeCruiserMike: I'm not sure what you are referring to when your talking about Mr. Pearson, but all this information can be found in the Episode "Game Over", Enzo enter a Mortal Combat type game with Andrea and Frisket. After losing to the user. Enzo changed his icon to Game Sprite mode to evade avoid being nullified, Andrea does the same, then she also changes Frisket's.

Also, before Enzo is an adult, he is usualy referred to as Enzo.

"21:47, 4 April 2006 BlackthornIV m (→Enzo Matrix - "Matrix" is Enzo's last name, and he is usually only referred as this when he is an Adult)"

"11:17, 6 April 2006 TimeCruiserMike (Changed name back to Matrix, is referring to the adult enzo, also matrix changed his icon to gamesprite mode when showing mr pearson how he survived in the games, then accidentlly left it that way)"

The Mr. Pearson thing was explaining why the system reboot created a second Enzo and the end of the third season. -arctic gnome 19:05, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Artic.gnome, But I can't seem to find this in End Prog or either of the movies (watching them now), Do you remember what episode? -- Blackthorn

It's right after Bob decides to let the user win the game, and the main characters are going around the city making sure that everyone is in the principle office with their PID recorded before the reboot. Person "And besides, who are ye to be botherin' about!"

Matrix "Its me, Enzo!"

Person "What are ya daft??"

Matrix "No. I survived the games by living in game-sprite mode. I fought long and hard to get back to mainframe."

German Version

I find it a bit difficult to proof the existence of the German version, except for shops (tons of them). I do own it (watching it right now), but the release was very cheap in all ways (I got them cheaper than the current Amazon.de price [1]). No advertisment, no extras on the discs (except for a few ugly trailers for their other children DVDs) and the last time I searched the company hadn't a real webpage. Though there is a contact email address to be found on the web. Apparently they only took the second season since only the first and second have been synchronized in German (not half bad, I might say, but the synchro had been ordered by a state owned channel, which at the time were responsible for rather good synchros), but TV Loonland (the liscence-holder for our region) had lost the liscencing rights. Hmm, it seems it was co-published by "Medienvertrieb in Buchholz" as similarily small company, which doesn't have a real website either. Both companies did Shadow Raiders in 8 DVDs too, with the original voice track this time (and a more than crappy German synchro). The liscensing company TV-Loonland is even more confusing. First this [2] then this [3] and finally this [4]. I have no idea who the Italian company is or this Joan Records. TV-Loonland's own Reboot infopage[5] is getting worst by the year, last year they still had the info up on which regions they can liscense what to, and note the lack of rights to season four. This is all very confusing, but I can state with certainty that three officially liscenced DVDs containing season 2 (10 episodes total) exist in Germany. The production of these DVDs was just not announced or reviewed anywhere, or any other other information, same seems to go for the other products of these companies. One day the DVDs just appeared on the shelves (and I actually found Shadow Raiders that way, on a shelf in a shop). I had brief e-mail contact (about three years ago) with the persons responsible for releasing Shadow Raiders and begged them for ReBoot (seems like I was heard). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.184.91.211 (talkcontribs)

You've semi-verified that the 3rd and 4th seasons were released in Germany from those links, but not the second. Even the Loonland plot summaries refer to the 3rd season, but not the earlier one. A cursory search on those terms you mentioned still bring up 3rd/4th season items, but not the second. I'd rather be safe than sorry here, per WP:V. There are also many DVD bootlegs of the show floating around, as well. Even if you own them yourself, it's not enough to count as verifiable, at that point it becomes original research. You need to find a reliable third-party source. --SevereTireDamage 21:47, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No, as a matter of fact season 3 and 4 weren't released. The season 2 DVDs just have pictures from season 3 and 4 on them, not to mention that the cover blurb for the DVDs is just the text from TV-Loonland, which is for season 3 and 4 (TV-Loonland is crappy, TV-Loonland by the accounts of the guy from Best Entertainment was responsible for the truely outrageous German synchro Shadow Raiders got).
A so widespread sale of bootlegs in German is very unlikely. Not to mention that the actual quality of the DVDs points the other way, everything else might be crappy, but the episodes themselves are in great quality, the voice track is completely intact, not to mention that it has the complete German credits (and without a proper source you wouldn't get those without the logo of the broadcasting channel).
I found the e-mail to the guy from Best Entertainment AG again, would contacting him help or would that be original research?
Btw, why is there no mention of the PlayStation game? --84.184.91.211 22:17, 2 August 2006 (UTC) (Sorry for being unsigned before.)[reply]
Please understand that with such a convoluted publishing history, it's even more important that we find verifiable external sources on this information. (Using 3rd season screenshots to sell the 2nd season? If that's true, it's pretty awful. If what you're saying is true, it makes their website even more unreliable!)
E-mailing the guy from Best would most certainly be original research. We can't even cite Usenet postings from alt.tv.reboot, which is sad, since there was a great amount of information on there over the years from Mairi Welman and Gavin Blair. (Though I don't think this has stopped everyone, especially on the List of characters page.)
Good call on the PS1 game - actually there should be a separate section on all the merchandise (children's books, toys, video game), but I never really got around to starting it. --SevereTireDamage 22:32, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
ReBoot doesn't seem to be a lucky series, I tried, I just can't find any external source for the DVDs. I'm sure they aren't bootlegs, I just can't proof it. The damn companies apparently only publishes very cheap DVDs that contain nothing but the very bare essentials. Even more interesting, the "AG" in "Best Entertainment AG" implies that it is noted on the exchange, couldn't find any information about it, except one guy who was noted in 2001 being on one of the boards of the company. There is even less information on M.I.B., I can't even find out, where that company is stationed.
I think it would be easier to proof that the PS game exists in German (with a truly awful and un-ReBootish synchronisation, it is really cringeworthy) than to proof that these DVDs exist. (The series is completely underappreciated.) --84.184.91.211 22:41, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Tell me about it. It's even harder to find information now that Mainframe has all-but abandoned the property, and Blair and Pierson left to form their own studio. But there'll still be the hardcore fans lying around who managed to catch the show. At least you know the video game will be verifiable, as its been reviewed by major sites and publications (Gamepro, Gamespot[6], IGN even gave it a good review[7]). If you want to start the merch section or a spinoff article for the video game, be my guest. --SevereTireDamage 22:56, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Superhuman Samurai blah blah

I added a note in the trivia section to how for a month ABC aired a Power Ranger-ish show in Reboot's slot, how the network hinted at a crossover, and the Reboot bumper shows that were broadcast during that timespan. I know I saw it with my own eyes, I have a great memory for useless trivia like this, but I can't seem to find the tapes that had those. Is anyone in favor of keeping this blurb/able to verify it? Gladrius 17:38, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I'm removing this until it can be confirmed as anything besides speculation. It sounds likely to just be a typical advertisement by ABC. Cartoon shows on a same network do this kind of "cross-promotion" all the time without actually leading to real crossovers. --SevereTireDamage 21:13, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, as I noted, it never happened. Personally, I think some guy at ABC just got the wrong idea from the memo. Gladrius 00:13, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to at least include the part about SHSSS taking its slot and the Reboot mini-story that was shown during that time, since that at least concerns Reboot and is real. Gladrius 01:31, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Even if it's real, it's still by policy, unverifiable. Besides, it seems relatively minor given the tumultuous schedule and production history of the show. --SevereTireDamage 04:03, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tony Jay

I feel that something on this page should probably refer to his death. Doesn't this seriously impact on our chances of more ReBoot given where the series ended? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.229.247.20 (talkcontribs)

Honestly? No. Though I too am saddened by his death, it really has very little to do with the show's lack of continuation. Two of the main creators leaving (only Phil Mitchell still works as Mainframe, last I heard) was pretty much the nail in the coffin. But more importantly, this is fan speculation and not discussed in the media or any reliable sources. --SevereTireDamage 06:09, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I guess Reboot's pretty much over now, and RIP Tony Jay. There will never be another one like him.

Anime Infuence?

I hadn't really paid any attention to this before, but was ReBoot influenced by anime? I mean there were certainly anime cameos, but they were more in the nature of pop culture references than Anime.. Anyone else have any thoughts of this?--Vercalos 08:38, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't think ReBoot was influenced by anime. They only had anime elements when they where spoofing it. --Anibas 08:43, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose it's mostly a matter of opinion, unless we could contact the people who made the show and ask them what their influences were.--Vercalos 17:58, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The Hex/Daemon fight seemed anime-ish to me; but then again it was also reminiscent of superhero fights as well. Not that this really adds to the discussion, just an observation. Seeing as it was fourth season I hardly think it matters.Mavrickindigo (talk) 05:17, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I thought the badges were called PIDs

this article reffers to the badges that all the characters wear as "icons." I could've sworn they were called PIDs (Process IDs) can anyone confirm/debunk this?Ziiv 01:28, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I remember the PIDs are stored in the icons, just like the guardian or game sprite protocols. I'd say the icons are the hardware and the PIDs are part of the software, so to speak. --Anibas 10:20, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The PID is the the form of identification that sprites and binomes are given. The term is a reference to the Process identifier in Windows and other OSes. Anibas is correct; the PID is stored on the icon. Zarggg 19:31, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Censorship??

from article "Editing of anime in American distribution"

"However, censorship is also demonstrated in imports from other countries and even original US productions; Spider-Man: The Animated Series and the Canadian series ReBoot both faced heavy censorship."

What edits did reboot get when it came to America? Angelofdeath275 21:27, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

read the section on censorship and ABC on this article. --Philo 22:29, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Censorship didn't start with American distribution, but from the very get-go in Canadian broadcasting before development of the series. There is an article on one of the fan sites that describes how Dot's appearance had to be changed before production even began, because censors thought she was too busty; hence her "uni-boob". Another involved a scene where Dot kisses Enzo on the forehead, and that was removed before it could be animated because Canadian censors were worried it might give thoughts of incest; an apparent problem in Canada?. ~ Agvulpine 05:30, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
ReBoot was a co-production with ABC for its first two seasons. Read the WIRED article--both of those instances of censorship were imposed by ABC's BSnP. American series??

The recent change of category to "1990s American television series" is a bit icky in my mind. Surely the show was distributed by ABC in its first two seasons, but it was created in Canada! Can it be called American? Arasaka 05:59, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Before, it was a 'TV show in the United States'. 'American television series' is more accurate, as Canada is part of the continent of America.--Vercalos 23:52, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
From : "This is a listing of television shows that originated in the United States during the 1990s". It started airing on both ABC and YTV simultaneously, so it originated in both the US and Canada, so it's kind of correct. The category doesn't mention anything about where it was created. Since the category was a rename from '1990s TV show in the United States', I say we leave it. On an unrelated note, there is no continent of America. ;) --Aqua 08:04, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, America refers only to the USA, no other country. Puerto Rican TV series aren't even American, technically. Anyway, does anyone know who bought the series first. Many series on Teletoon and Family Channel in Canada are essentially commissioned by the channel, then distributed to a hundred countries. -- Zanimum 15:27, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup Tag

The tag seems to be refering to the humor and trivia section. I personally think that the references were an important part of the series, but it is currently taking up a large portion of the page. In correspondace with WP:TRIV, I think that most of it should be moved to List of ReBoot episodes and List of Games and Users from ReBoot, with only a summary of their use and long running items in the section. I'll probably start working on it in the next few days if no one objects. --Aqua 08:19, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This "law" about fansites.

I had just edited back in the links the other night when they were removed, my reasoning being "What's a show without it's fans? Especially a site with the goal of bringing the show back?".

I understand if there were too many of them, and some were offline, but if you want to get down to it the Unofficial ReBoot Home Page is also a fansite.

I did a quick search of popular cartoon 'Code Lyoko', it's main fansites are still there. However I suppose could just be a matter of time before they too are removed.

There is nothing wrong with adding one or more useful content-relevant links to an article; however, excessive lists can dwarf articles and detract from the purpose of Wikipedia. On articles about topics with many fansites, including a link to one major fansite may be appropriate, marking the link as such. See Wikipedia:External links and m:When should I link externally for some guidelines."
I'm not personally a fan of this, but yeah... if the community of editors actively involved in editing the Reboot article can debate which sites are the most relevant to keep, that would be good. Alternatively, if the DMOZ category for Reboot is good, or there's some sort of directory somewhere, by all means, a link to that would be encouraged.
As for Code Lyoko... One site is news related, two our run by people involved in the program, one is production company site, and the other is a true fansite. By that matter, each is warranted. -- Zanimum 15:28, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Special Episode

The secton about the "unaired special episode" is highly unencyclopedic and unclear. Notably, I can assume that the episode is presented directly to the viewer, but as it seems to begin in the ReBoot world, this is unclear and should be stated. Unfortunatly, I know nothing about this episode and am too inexperienced with Wikipedia to properly tag this problem, so I am just posting here as a note if someone wishes to rectify this problem.

According to the YouTube page itself, this was on television as an ITV special; someone captured it and uploaded it to YouTube. It's not really an episode, it's what they call on DVD's "featurettes". I mean it is cool, though I don't know that it deserves this much description. Avt tor 23:00, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To who it may concern: The source of the unaired special episode is a VHS tape given to a fan by the UK TV broadcast company Meridian, it was never aired on TV, the tape was subsequently digitised and put out as extras on bootleg DVDs and as an individual video file uploaded to the net. Binary Joke Translation

The article mentions at [ReBoot#Pop_culture_references] that in "Talent Night" the binary joke translates as "Take my wife, please." However, my transcription of what is said is "101 00 11 011 101 1101 11 00 11 0111 10 01 110 101 10 000 1100 1011 1 0011 101" (I inserted spaces where the comic pauses to improve readability and assist in verification of my transcription). There are 58 bits in this string, and so I have no idea how it was translated into "Take my wife, please," especially considering that 58 factors into 29 and 2, meaning that it cannot fit into any existing coding standard. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 206.248.157.246 (talk) 06:45, 15 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

If you break up the binary as such: "10100 1 1011 101 1101 11001 10111 1001 110 101 10000 1100 101 1 10011 101", the decimal equivalent is "20 1 11 5 13 25 23 9 6 5 16 12 5 1 19 5". Assigning each letter in the alphabet a number, starting at a=1 and going to z=26, you substitute the appropriate letters for the numbers and get "takemywifeplease". In Se3-Ep14, there is a sequence of decimal values extracted from Phong's head which represent an access code to unlock a tear as a portal for Megabyte to escape. The decimal values as displayed are "89 65 68 68 65 89 65 68 68 65 89 65 68 68 65 33", which translates to ASCII text as "YADDAYADDAYADDA!". ~ Agvulpine 07:51, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Megabyte/Hexadecimal virus strain

I edited the character section mention of Hexadecimal to read "twin sister" instead of older sister. I don't exactly like that wording, but aside from just removing the word it was the best option I could think of. I'm not exactly sure why Hexadecimal was considered to be Megabyte's older sister in the first place, but season four clearly shows that Hexadecimal and Megabyte were created at the same time from Gigabyte's splitting in the explosion that destroyed the Twin City. --Marzolan 07:24, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio?

Could someone please check whether this article is in copyvio of [8]? I'm not sure which came first, but the page doesn't mention Wikipedia as a source and seems in style with the rest of the website. -- 91.0.108.188 10:02, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Feathers McGraw?

I used to watch ReBoot while it was doing the rounds on CITV, and I'm fairly sure that I saw Feathers McGraw in at least one cameo role. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes. He was in Identity Crisis, Part 2. Dot goes to see Phong, who now lives in a cardboard box. Before Phong walks out, Feathers McGraw is seen. [9] -- RattleMan 23:19, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
He's also in the very next episode and in at least one episode of 2 and three each. I remember the sightings but not the exact episodes if people can verify:

1.) Just before Phong comes out of the box 2.) Stands in the road as the camera zooms out to show some ABCs flying by or something 3.) Walking down the street just before the web creature escapes 4.) Falls out of a crate as the Salty Mare is in the data storm (or otherwise attacked in one of the web episodes) Mavrickindigo (talk) 05:22, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Icon" Color and Orientation

Having recently re-watched several episodes out of order, and the entire 3rd season, it occurred to me that a childhood question of mine has yet to be answered. What is the significance (if any) of the color and 180° orientation of the ReBoot "Icon" badge that is worn by Sprites, Guardians, et al?

I know the Guardian's Icon is yellow/black with the yellow background and black half-diamond on top. However, common Sprites wear a black/white icon and its proper orientation is unclear to me-- having seen it worn with either white-on-black at top, or black-on-white at top. At first I had noticed it oriented as black-on-white at top, but then noticed that it's most commonly worn white-on-black at top. Other characters also wear different color Icons, but these only appear to be cosmetic in nature. Still, I'd like to know if there were any standards in practice which perhaps identified a character's good/evil orientation. Thanks.

Viral binomes have a green and black color scheme to their icons. That's how you can tell Syrus is working for Megabyte during the Funhouse episode. 216.165.132.250 (talk) 16:28, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Argh! A trivia section?!

Trivia sections are just there for people who can't work out how to write real articles. /me stops being provocative. Can we please merge this into the main article? It's spoiling an otherwise excellent article! - Ta bu shi da yu 10:56, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the trivia in the "Trivia" section concerning a specific episode is already listed in the "In-show joke notes" section of List of ReBoot episodes. --Silver Edge 14:13, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Two Revival Sections

There are two revival sections. I'm partial for removing the second (lower on the page) one. Mgius 18:21, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have gone ahead and removed the second "Revival" section. --Silver Edge 14:13, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cast+characters

Is there any way to merge these two sections since they basically cover the same information? I'll sit down with it if no one gets to it before I have some free time, but I figured I'd ask. Hewinsj 13:23, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest merging it into List of ReBoot characters. --Silver Edge 14:13, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The past tense

"ReBoot was a CGI animated series." Why is Reboot described in the past tense? It is a television series. Making it "was" means that it no longer exists. Perhaps it should be rephrased as: "Reboot is a CGI animated television series which originally broadcasted from 1994 to 2001 ... blah blah blah". xero-7 02:58, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cartoon Network airing

Ok, I know from my own recordings off of Cartoon Network that they aired season 3, and then looped to seasons 1 & 2. After that they canceled airing the loop of season 3 after the episode Firewall. My best guess as to why they would do that is because of poor ratings. Though if anyone has a better idea, please edit it. Mr.Smiley4 08:48, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

First full-length, completely computer-animated TV series?

According to the Timeline of CGI in film and television, Insektors was the first First full-length, completely computer-animated TV series. Never having heard of that show personally, this necessitates some investigation. --ASA-IRULE (talk) 05:09, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
