1966 Defence White Paper

A major British defence policy brought by the Labour Party government under Prime Minister Harold Wilson the main author was the then Secretary of Defense Denis Healey. The government decided on significant reductions in the defence budget, and cut a number of significant new projects, among which included the CVA-01 aircraft carrier and the TSR2 tactical strike aeroplane.
