KSQY (95.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Mainstream Rock format. Licensed to Deadwood, South Dakota, USA, serves the Rapid City area. The station is currently owned by Haugo Broadcasting, Inc.[1]
History
The station signed on as 95.1 K-SKY on 4/19/1982. K-SKY broadcasts from a 400 foot tower on the summit of Terry Peak. K-SKY uses a 17,000 watt booster to enhance signal coverage in Rapid City. The main signal from Terry Peak boasts one of the largest FM signals in the US. [2]
