Crime in Brisbane
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia has a lower crime rate than other Australian cities[citation needed] such as Sydney (see Crime in Sydney for details). Even though it is a reasonably safe city by world standards, Brisbane's crime rate is growing rapidly.[citation needed]

Clinton Rose, Half-brother of Schapelle Corby (A convicted drug Smuggler), has had drug possession charges and spent time in jail for a range of offences. He is currently serving a 15 month sentence in Queensland for drug possession, breaking and entering and fraud. This is his second time in prison on charges involving drug possession.
