Frank Roosevelt is a professor of economics at Sarah Lawrence College. He is a graduate of Yale and received his Ph.D. from the New School for Social Research. His work has primarily focused on combining Marxism and capitalism in an attempt to make modern economic systems more fair and less prone to the "winner takes all" scenario.

His grandparents include Frankin Delano Roosevelt, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Ethel DuPont.
