Suncorp Stadium
Hi Brain of Morbius I am following up on a change you made to the Brisbane page. You reverted my change of the official name of Suncorp Stadium. Below I have provided a link to the official reds website that states that Suncorp Stadium is the official name of the stadium. I was unable to find any references citing the official name as Lang Park as stated in your updates. http://www.qru.com.au/qld/qld.rugby/page/754
The following text was taken from the web page: Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane Venue Details
Official Name: Suncorp Stadium Sports: Rugby League, Rugby Union, Soccer Location: Brisbane, Queensland, AUS Opened: 2003 (June) Capacity: 52,500
Other Information The old Lang Park ground was predominantly the home of rugby league in Queensland from 1957 into the 1990s, when the first stage of the current Suncorp Stadium was built, enabling it to accommodate major events including rugby Test matches. A more extensive re-development was undertaken in 2001 and completed in 2003 - at a cost of AUD$280million - to allow the venue to accommodate Rugby World Cup 2003 fixtures. ~~~~

Mark Williams
A disambiguation page for the various Mark Williamses of the world sound like a good idea - go ahead! --Auximines 11:43, 20 Oct 2004 (UTC)
minor edits
minor edits are meant for simple changes to spelling and formatting and grammar and syntax. if you are adding or removing content, link adding someone being born on a particular day, please do not mark that as minor.
the reason is that some people have their settings set so that minor edits don't come up in their searches.

AFL articles
It's great to see someone finally dedicating some attention to fixing these up - they certainly need it. I tried to fix up some of the worst ones around the time of the Brownlow last year, but I really didn't have the interest to do much more of it. Ambi 22:23, 19 May 2005 (UTC)
- No worries. It'd be great to see more AFL content on here. My personal bias is towards Brisbane (and Bears/Fitzroy) so I'll be concentrating on those. I can't see too many others interested at the moment, otherwise I'd suggest an AFL wikiproject might be in order.--The Brain of Morbius 00:07, 20 May 2005 (UTC)
Where was that AFL player infobox? I'd like to have a look and see if it could be adapted, or if it's necessary (not that many biographies seem to have infoboxes, as far as I recall).
Have you thought about creating an infobox for teams? It'd be really nice to have one we could use for all Australian sports, and AFL wouldn't be a bad place to start - I'm happy to help with filling it out for all teams if you're interested.
It'd be nice to see some of the Australian articles getting up to the standard of say, Manchester United - I'd really love to get an Australian version of those templates at the bottom, too, as that'd be quite useful. Ambi 12:30, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
I created a disambiguation page. If you're up for correcting the links that should go to the snooker player's article, go ahead. I don't really have the time to do it at the moment. Thanks. Harro5 04:02, Jun 11, 2005 (UTC)
