La Boîte noire is a 2005 Mystery film directed by Richard Berry, written by Richard Berry and Éric Assous adapted from a short novel of Tonino Benacquista, and starring José Garcia and Marion Cotillard.

Plot

Following a car accident, Arthur Seligman (José Garcia) is dived during some hours in a coma. During his awakening phase, in a verbal delirium, it express incoherent sentences that find their roots directly. His awakening, it is facing a curious enigma: What it did the night on this road, close of Cherbourg? Its disturbing sentences, disturbing and liberating were noted in a notebook black by Isabelle Kruger (Marion Cotillard), one of the hospital nurses. To help it to reply to its questions, Isabelle puts back to Arthur, as if she offered him a treasure, the testimony writes begins for Arthur an unbelievable adventure; it will be at once the victim, the guilty one and his own life.
