Coordinate with Zublin article

The Elizabeth Zubilin article indictes the two were actually married and had a long term relationship. No mention of her being "sent to seduce" him. Which version is correct? --KNHaw 01:24, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orlov (Secret History) says that Yagoda ordered Zubilin to seduce Blumkin in Moscow. Andrew (Mitrokhin Archive) says that Trilisser, Yagoda's deputy, arranged an early version of what was known as the "honey pot," and had her sent to Turkey for the seduction. Both authors agree she was encouraged to "abandon bourgeois predjudices" and seduce Blumkin. Neither speaks of a marriage. The Zubilin article needs a re-write...

But then again, Sudoplatov in his recent memoir, tells a different story. So waddaya gonna do?

Миф об участии Я.Блюмкина в Центрально-Азиатской экспедиции Н.К.Рериха

В книге Олега Шишкина "Битва за Гималаи" утверждается, что Блюмкин под видом буддийского монаха поехал в Тибет, где сопровождал экспедицию Н. Рериха в княжество Ладакх в Тибете под видом паломника и ламы. Лишь в конце экспедиции «лама» вдруг заговорил по-русски.

Однако, документы из секретных архивов разведки опровергают как факт пребывания Блюмкина в экспедиции Н.К.Рериха, так и утверждение О.Шишкина о связи Н.К.Рериха с ОГПУ. Руководитель пресс-бюро Службы внешней разведки России Ю.Кабаладзе неоднократно в своих выступлениях в СМИ утверждал:

"По сведениям службы внешней разведки и по документам Блюмкин не был в экспедиции Рериха. Автор путает даты и экспедиции."

"On information of the service of the external exploring and on the document 
 Blyumkin was not in expeditions Reriha. The Author muddles the date and expeditions."}
