What is the deal with the Ocean Wind warnings from Fiji?
Fiji is now issuing Ocean Wind warnings for Tropical Depression 03 in the south Pacific Ocean. These are being redistributed by Brisbane as Ocean Warnings.
Does this in any way affect the Australian Article, or is it strictly for Fiji? Metamorphazone (talk) 02:44, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Leave them on the SPAC article for now as BOM has not put it on their TC front Page here Jason Rees (talk) 14:22, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
Brisbane has always done this. TCWC Wellington re-issues(copy) Fiji Advisories as well. -- グリフオーザー (talk) 04:00, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Infobox categories
While reverting back to the local scale, which I think makes sense, I noticed the infoboxes auto-link to the Saffir scale, not the local scales page. Perhaps it needs to be changed, not the number shown? Iorek (talk) 01:45, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
- This is a known problem and we're trying to figure out a solution; until then, edit warring over the infoboxes isn't going to do much good. At some point in the near future, a new version of {{Infobox hurricane small}} will be written to solve the issue of local basin categorization. --Coredesat 01:55, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
- No worries. In the meantime, though, it just seems odd to have the infobox for Guba, say, have Cat 1 at the top while the body text says it was a category three.Iorek (talk) 03:26, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
- Near future = next 48 hours. The rollout will take a little while to reach here but it will happen soon.--Nilfanion (talk) 22:37, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

- That sounds encouraging. but the only thing i will say is how comes it will take a while to get to the current season? Jason Rees (talk) 01:48, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Other Storms
Is this section really needed as TCWC Brisbane did issue warnings on TC 20P. [Source - http://listserv.uiuc.edu/wa.cgi?A2=ind0802e&L=wx-tropl&T=0&P=309] Jason Rees (talk) 21:34, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
