Final Episode (1-hour finale)
How is the final episode called? --83.228.137.68 17:11, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- "Michelle Rides Again"Dshibshm (talk) 05:48, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Editing to Links section
I did some minor editing to the links section: I moved the official site to the bottom, because despite the fact that it IS the official site, it's sorta obvious they just made it and left it and would not be the best place to find info about the show. They haven't updated for years. I also moved TV.com to second-to-bottom because the TV.com template limits some content such as downloads of songs, etc.
- I moved the official page back to the top. It may not be updated at all, but it's generally Wikipedia style to keep official pages at the top. Also, I removed links to the two forums, because links to the websites are already present, and it's redundant to include the forum links as well. ral315 15:22, August 30, 2005 (UTC)
I moved links...again. I moved Full House Aloha lower than the official page, and added howrude.org.
Changed howrude.thatsanderskid.com to howrude.org, because of hosting problems I think it'd be easier to list that instead of editing it everytime a new host is found. -corndogs211
Books
There were some books based on the FH episodes written. Is anybody able to collect the titles and write something about it ? (Annamaria95 15:48, 23 April 2006 (UTC))
Quoting Uncle Joey
He's not Uncle Joey; Joey is Danny's BFF, not his brother.
A: There's always a 'chance'. Don't quote me on this, but it would be difficult to try and re-negotiate with the producers, actors and the studio. So I feel strongly that it would never happen.
Way to quote him there, f****ts. What do you think don't quote me means? --Boycottthecaf 21:16, 17 August 2005 (UTC)
Okayyy... I think he said it figuratively and didn't really mean it word for word. We could ask if he ever visited this article (as if), I also censored some of the stuff you had up... Badlands17 21 August 2005
Reunion?
The article states about "another reunion episode". Isn't this kind of misleading considering that there wasn't one reunion episode? Flyerhell 07:05, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
Their address and phone number do not belong in the synopsis
I agree, on first look, that their phone number and adress is really unnecessary. Who really cares? Does that have anything to do with the plot of the show? However, these small extra tidbits of info really aren't hurting anything...
Cancellation
It has not been mentioned how Full House was cancelled.
What do you mean how it was cancelled? Is there a story behind it or the show just went off the air? Flyerhell 19:26, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
Yes its cancelled
Can you cite a source to back up your claim? If not then it won't be mentioned.
From the E! True Hollywood Story on Full House, Mary Murphy (Senior Writer from TV Guide) says : "In the end, the reason Full House was canceled was that too much money was being spent, 1.3 million an episode, and so much money on performers that had been there for 8 years..."
And John Stamos says "The show kinda got prematurely canceled...'"[1] --Weakmassive 06:16, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- Also, John Stamos did not want to continue, and he was a focal point of it all.Dshibshm (talk) 05:51, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
John kind of talked out of both sides of his mouth then. I vaguely remember what was said on the E! special about the show becoming too expensive. WAVY 10 Fan (talk) 15:22, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Episode Articles
These episode artiles are really bad currently. Nick at night currently plays Full House episodes in episode order. I want everybody to go out there, watch the episodes and write synopsises! Thank You, --GeorgeMoneyTalk Contribs 06:52, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Ain't
Do any of the three Tanner girls ever say "ain't" on this show? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.202.26.44 (talk • contribs) .
- Please rember that this was made in the late 80's, early 90's and they didn't have the word "ain't". --GeorgeMoney T·C 22:49, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- Not sure I should grace you with a reply (given your very "creative" signature), but a short google search for "ain't dictionary" will (or would) inform you that ain't came into being in the 18th century. --jae 02:48, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- I have changed my sig due to Template:Sigpoll2. --GeorgeMoney T·C 03:11, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
Villian
Who's the villian of this show? Is it Stephanie?
- Kimmy Gibbler is.
- I know, I know! Comet the dog. TripleH1976 11:50 a.m., 13 May 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I really doubt there's a villian on this show. -corndogs211
It should be more like a person who just annoyes people. In the First Season, it's michelle. In the second season, its still Michelle. Also, Becky and Jesse's relationship can also be stated as a "Villian". Yeah, Kimmy Gibbler is probably 100% the villian. Uncle Jesse probably thinks Comet is a villian, as Comet likes his bed so much. --haha169 18:39, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
There really isn't a villian, but there are something like antagonists in separate episodes when something gets ruined. As in one episode (sorry don't know the title) Nicky and Alex destroy Michelle's diorama, so they would be the "villians". Or would it be the parents? Mooski Magnus 02:38, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- That's just it - not every show has to have a villain.
- The conflicts possible are man vs. man, nature, himself, or God. (My former teacher would be proud :-) In a sitcom, the emphasis is on man vs. man situations - at times there are different situations which need resolved, but as Mooski Magnus notes, it's more like a different antagonist in each episode. The nature depends on the situation. And, "comedy" sort of denotes that it's going to be light, meaning, it's unlikely you could see a true "villain" in a family sitcom. Even a schoolyard bully in some others is more an antagonist, unless they're in like every episode.
John Stamos Article
Let's create an article on John Stamos.
There is one. Did you create it? John Stamos
Goofs
In the goofs section it says that Wrestlemania has never been hosted in Pittsburgh when I clearly remember it being there a couple years ago. I would put it on there but I forget what year it was exactly. WrestleMania was never in Pittsburgh. Vince would never go to a pathetic place like Pittsburgh for WrestleMania. By the way PITTSBURGH SUCKS AND SO DO THE STEELERS.TG 50 14:29, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
stupid
Yeah. What does that have to do with the article?
WAVY 10 00:05, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- That's not a goof, anyway, becasue "Full House," like other TV shows, exists in a universe not quite like our own, becasue there is a family that doesn't exist in our own. As long as things are grossly out of line (The Chicago Cubs winning the World Series, for instance - unless it's a show about alternate universes or there is some specific reason given like a character impacting that) it should be accepted as canon for that universe. And, there is *no* valid reason why, in some similar but parallel universe, there could *not* have been a WWF event in Pittsburgh on that date.
Reunion
Leaked internal notices from ABC reveal a reunion movie is scheduled for the Fall of 2007. All stars will be returning except for the Olsen twins, who sources say have demanded too much money to do the 2 hour dramedy reunion special.
- Mind if you source this? bibliomaniac15 21:31, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

Episode Quotations

I need a script excerpt
Which episode of Full House has a script that has the line "For the rest of the day you're gonna be in your room and no TV."? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.10.200.101 (talk) 06:00, 14 January 2007 (UTC).
That line is from the episode "The Devil Made Me Do It", which aired during season five. Gabrielkat 00:04, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
Vandalism
Why is everything pertaining to this show (and especially Bob Saget's character) getting the snot vandalized out of it? I had to get the Danny Tanner page semi-protected last month and I'm beginning to think that we may need to do so with this page.
I also recommend banning those (temporarily) who tried to slam this page with a bunch of crud.
Yeah, what's with the whole "Danny the Fanny" and "Bob the Faggot Saget" stuff?
WAVY 10 14:29, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Criticism
Shouldn't there be a "Criticism" section? I'm sure "Full House" has had its share of criticism due to many people thinking that it isn't "real enough".
- Probably, but first we need to address the incessant vandalism. WAVY 10 14:30, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
- Plus such a section would be a original research and vandalism magnet. PMA 11:26, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- The problem with criticism of this show is that much of it, if looked at one way, is wrong but loooked at another way, is not. Same with goofs. Unless one phrases it just right - i.e.: "No specifics were ever given as to how Jesse Katsopolis faked his graduation - it will lead to big arguments. Yes, they did a retcon and said that Jesse dropped out. But, Jesse is the only person who ever talked about it, so he *could*have*lied*. It's just that nobody ever thinks about that. So, by saying, "Jesse first graduated, then he dropped out," someone else will be able to come right back and said, "No, he lied about graduating, his visit back to the school was a ploy, etc.."
- See what I mean? I think the best way to say it with cricisms and goofs like that is that there were a variety of retcons that could be viewed in one of several ways," or "The number of retcons require very creative thinking to explain." or, "When taken literally, some things appear to be goofs that weren't if looked at in antoher way." But, I don't know how to get more specific than that, and I don't know exactly how to phrase it so it makes sense for an encyclopedia. We frankly don't know what the writers were thinking, but they 8could* have decided, when doing the retcon, that it was plausible that Jesse *lied*.
- Which is why a bunch of fans got together and produced something that explained all that in the first place.
- Plus such a section would be a original research and vandalism magnet. PMA 11:26, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
"Funnyish"

Disney Channel appearances...
About this statement...
- Members of the Full House cast have appeared on Disney Channel shows four times:
- Candace Cameron in That's So Raven as Courtney Dearborn; credited as Candace Cameron Bure.
- (Episode: Teacher's Pet)
- Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen in Sister, Sister as themselves. (Episode: Slime Party)
- Dave Coulier in The Thirteenth Year as Whit Griffin.
- Dave Coulier in The Even Stevens Movie as the host of Gotcha!, Lance LeBow.
I don't think the Sister, Sister one counts since the show was airing on the WB at the time, and only airs in reruns on Disney Channel. The way this is written implies that this show was one that originated on the channel. WAVY 10 12:45, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Semi-protect request
I noticed today how much nonsense (ex.: Ashley Tisdale and Britney Spears being added to the Guest Star list). I requested semi-protection for this page. WAVY 10 00:55, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
That's as stupid and unnecessary as the show.
Recurring theme - growing up
I don't know if it was there but then removed because of the vandalism, but I found it stunning that this was not mentioned. It is one of the few shows to have the children act like children, and not adults, on a consistent basis, though others have done so a little. If marriage is only mentioned a few times and is listed at a recurring theme, then this should be, also.
I hope it looks good the way I did it - the first paragraph admittedly is more certain to fit there than my second, dealing with one episode, but I think that episode is important in that the childrens' reactions to the first date are quite relevant and would be glossed over on some shows. Hey, as noted in paragraph 3, this is one of the few shows ever to note that the deceased mother even existed. I think, though I'm not sure of this, there are more mentions of the deceased mother here than in every other show with a widower *combined*. (Andy Griffith, My Three Sons, Diff'rent Strokes, etc.)
Agreed, but I would qualify that part of the first paragraph as such: "It is one of the few shows (in more recent years)to have the children act like children, and not adults, on a consistent basis..."
Just a comment. WAVY 10 14:44, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

One minor issue about the article
The "History of the Show" section talks about "four main characters" being added to the lineup but only lists three characters by name. Someone care to fix that please? Thanks --Drmike 00:31, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Multiple airings per week during original run
Sometime around 1989, ABC did a thing that NBC also did with Quantum Leap around that time, running the episodes on at least two different nights to build up the audience. I don't have a cite to prove it, though, relying instead on my distinct memory of their doing this, because that's how I ended up watching both shows in college. Anyone have a cite for this? Looking for help writing an article about the spin-offs and crossovers of this series
I am writing an article about all of the series which are in the same shared reality as this one through spin-offs and crossovers. I could use a little help expanding the article since it is currently extremely dense and a bit jumbled with some sentence structures being extremely repetitive. I would like to be able to put this article into article space soon. Any and all help in writing the article would be appreciated, even a comment or two on the talk page would help. Please give it a read through, also please do not comment here since I do not have all of the series on my watch list. - LA @ 16:40, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
Setting
This section in the article has been added saying 'most of the show was filmed [in San Fransisco]'. I read somewhere that most of the sets were in LA and the only time they actually shot in San Fransisco was Comet's Excellent Adventure. Does anyone have a source to back this up?
