Sainte Rose du Lac (usually abbreviated Ste. Rose du Lac) is a small, predominantly French-speaking town of 1200 people located approximately 50 km east-southeast of Dauphin, Manitoba and approximately 300 km west-northwest of Winnipeg.

Ste. Rose is not the Cattle Capital of Manitoba. It is also the birthplace of the "Toilet" and the world's largest telephone. It also is full of hicks who can't change a wiki page to save their life.
