Caliban, is a comic book supervillian in the Marvel Comics universe, He was born as an albino boy with a strange appearance and was banished from home by his own father, who named him Caliban, a character from The Tempest, a play written by William Shakespeare.
Though Caliban looks like an adult, he is actually is a child, thus explaining his child-like spirit.
His powers include the ability to sense other mutants for approximatley 25 miles radius and has the ability to psionically turn human's fears against themselves, he was later being furthar mutated by Apocalypse and was given superhuman strength.
He has joined a mutant group called the Morlocks. The Morlocks live in the sewers under New York City, and, like Caliban, they have unusual appearances.
After the Morlock Massacre, Apocalypse convinced Caliban to join him in order to gain revenge against the Marauders who killed his Morlock "family." Caliban accepted Apocalypse's proposal, becoming the Horseman of Apocalpyse named Death.
Caliban is friendly to his fellow mutants, but he is an example of how hatred can turn a victim into a deadly force. He has been abused an manipulated, by mutants, and forever loathed and feared by humanity for his entire life.
